Lorry Stufflebeam

Lorry Stufflebeam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children and families. She holds a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Utah, as well as an undergraduate degree in Human Services. Lorry has a strong background in direct clinical interventions, particularly in child welfare, crisis situations, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, and trauma interventions. She has provided therapeutic services to individuals, couples, children, and the elderly, addressing a wide range of situational issues and severe mental illness. Recently, Lorry has been dedicated to working with women incarcerated in prison. Her passion for her work stems from her firm belief that everyone deserves peace, empathy, encouragement, and unconditional positive regard, regardless of their circumstances. Lorry’s approach to therapy emphasizes the power of education, communication, and connection. She takes a holistic view of her clients, considering their support system, self-care, coping skills, diet, exercise, and basic needs. Lorry understands that what works for one person may not work for another, and therefore collaborates with her clients to meet them where they are and build upon their existing strengths. She has received training in various therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
