Lucinda Foster

Lucinda Foster is a highly experienced therapist with over 19 years of experience in the field. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree in Counseling from Wichita State University in Kansas. Lucinda is a national certified counselor as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Throughout her career, she has worked in diverse settings, including a day program for the severe and chronic mentally ill, as an academic advisor, and as a welfare officer. After relocating to the Phoenix area, Lucinda served as an outreach counselor and Special Education Counselor, providing support to the Reservation and surrounding towns in Pinal County. In this role, she worked with children, parents, and schools on various issues such as relationship/communication, parenting, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and anger management. Lucinda has also dealt with addiction and marriage problems, gaining a wealth of experiences from each job. She has completed extensive training, including Levels I and II in Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EMDR), addressing Gambling Addiction, Rational Emotive Therapy, Reality, Sand Tray therapy, and several different Play Therapy modalities.
