Luella LaRoche

Luella LaRoche is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling and Therapy from Barry University. With extensive experience in various issues including general life transitions, coping with stressors, mood disorders, anxiety issues, psychotic disorders, and personality disorders, Luella has gained valuable insights from working with individuals in therapy sessions. She believes that therapy is a powerful tool for personal growth and is committed to helping clients move towards progress in their lives. Luella utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, Gestalt therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and more to establish meaningful gains. She also provides psychoeducation, utilizing techniques such as bibliotherapy, art, and music. Luella understands the challenges of juggling multiple roles as a wife, mother, and professional, and has a particular passion for assisting women through the various phases of life. She personally experienced the impact of support during her teenage years and believes in incorporating faith-based coping strategies in accordance with clients’ beliefs and cultural perspectives. Luella is dedicated to providing assistance and support to clients on their journey towards healing and personal growth.
