About Luke A Tervola's service

I’m Luke Tervola, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota with over 15 years of professional work experience in the mental health field. I have experience in helping clients with depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, difficult life changes, grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I have experience in using therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) techniques and resources. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. In my free time I enjoy hiking, vegetable gardening, concerts, and cheering on the Vikings, Twins, and Wild.
