About Melanie Griggs's service

I am licensed in North Carolina with 35 years of professional work experience. I hold Masters degrees in both Rehabilitation and Mental Health counseling (UNC-CH) and Education Administration (NCSU). I have work experience across settings including the courts, schools and public health. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety as well as depression. Many of these issues often stem from life experiences. I work with my clients to create an open and safe place where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I like to listen to my client’s stories and needs and then work with them to shape a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment in order to best fit the individual’s needs and preferences.
