Melba (Fran) Roberts is a Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor with deep experience and education in helping individuals deal with the losses that life presents. Specializing in grief, dying, and life limiting illness, she earned an M.A. in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado. With 9 years of experience at Pikes Peak Hospice as a grief counselor, Melba approaches each client and counseling session with compassion, humility, and respect. Using a variety of theoretical and practical approaches and techniques, her primary theoretical approach is Client-Centered Therapy. Her practice provides an emotionally safe environment for clients to give voice to their pain at their own pace, leading to healing and wholeness.
