Hello and Welcome to BetterHelp. I am a Maryland-licensed child and family therapist with over 20 years of experience. I have worked with clients seeking help with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges and grief and loss. I have also helped many people who have experienced emotional/physical abuse or neglect as well as challenges involved with adoption, custody and blended families. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I strive to treat everyone with respect, compassion and sensitivity without labeling or making assumptions. My approach combines humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and brief-solution focused . When appropriate I also include mindfulness, relaxation and EFT tapping.
