About Rene Morago-Barton's service

Hello, my name is Rene’ Morago-Barton. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from UWF and a Master is Clinical Psychology & Counseling from Troy State University in Troy, AL. I have worked in different settings for therapy to gain a insite into and experience with a range of different people in all situations in life. Whether that be in agency, in patient and private practice settings to understand where people are at. I use cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing with a solution focused therapy that is client centered. I have experience working with individuals whom struggle with anxiety, depression, grief and history of trauma. They also sometimes experience or have negative self-talk, low self-esteem, mood instability, substance use, irrational beliefs, and racing or overwhelming thoughts. I enjoy working with families in transition or blended family issues. I am here to meet you where you are at and help you achieve your goals for counseling.
