Ronald Henson (LCSW)

I am licensed in New Jersey with 15 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, confidence, depression, assertiveness and coaching. I have always believed strongly in the capacity of people from all backgrounds to develop skills and make positive changes to better themselves. This understanding intersects with my belief that enabling clients to develop their capacity to adopt new patterns of thought/action is integral in helping them learn and grow. This is an essential part of my approach with clients. My main objective with every client is to develop skills that enable positive change. This process starts with collaboration to identify where the client wants to be by the end of the therapeutic relationship to aid in the creation of treatment goals. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
