’Hi, I’m Shanterica Swan, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with experience providing therapy in outpatient, residential, correctional, and virtual settings. I work with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained internally. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, mood concerns, and difficulties with overthinking or emotional regulation. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including CBT, mindfulness, and skills-based interventions, with an emphasis on practical tools for everyday life. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in building emotional balance, clarity, and confidence.
