“He knows not his own strength who hath not met adversity”- Samuel Johnson We all face challenges in our lives. I am here to help you face those challenges with a non- judgemental , empathetic approach. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I have experience in grief counseling, family therapy, individual and group therapy. I have worked with children and adolescents. I can help parents address the issues they may be experiencing with their children. These would include defiance, bullying, peer pressure and grades. Additionally I have worked with diverse populations struggling with anxiety, depression, domestic abuse and relationship issues. I am multicultural. I am an American that grew up in South America. I have personal experience with different cultures and the impact that culture can have on our lives and relationships. I am bilingual speaking both Portuguese and English fluently. My counseling approach leans toward Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However I consider myself more of an Eclectic therapist. This allows me to tailor the methods being used to best fit your needs. I am passionate about my work. I strongly believe in treating my clients with respect and compassion. If you are ready for change I am ready to help you and support you.
