Sharona Herskovits (LCSW)

HI, my name is Sharona Herskovits and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New York. I have been in the field for over 20 years and have been truly blessed to work with clients ranging from young adults to the elderly dealing with varying issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues to anger management and family issues, to name a few . I received a masters degree from Wurzweiler School of Social Work in NYC and have dedicated half my life to the field of mental health. A “caring, compassionate and supportive therapist” are some terms that have been used to describe me. I view therapy as interactive and my clients will always feel respected and heard. My treatment approach is pretty laid back, but is set on the foundation of having a therapeutic relationship, to include using theories such as: Psychodynamic, patient centered and solution focused. It has been an honor and privilege to assist people through some of the most difficult times of their lives. And I look forward to doing the same for you.
