Steven Marshall

Steven Marshall is a passionate and dedicated therapist who is committed to improving the well-being of individuals. With a master’s degree in counseling from Louisiana Tech in 2017 and 8 years of experience in the helping profession, Steven brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice. He takes an integrative approach to counseling, utilizing a variety of theoretical approaches, with person-centered and cognitive-behavioral techniques being his primary methods. Steven believes in treating his clients with respect and unconditional positive regard, and he uses the cognitive-behavioral perspective to explore patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to better understand and address his clients’ problems. He has received specialized training in trauma, anxiety, depression, and domestic violence, and works with clients of all ages and backgrounds in individual, couples, family, and group therapy settings. Steven’s specialties include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Focus Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Preschool PTSD, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Telehealth, ADHD, Relationship Issues, and Bipolar Disorder.
