Susan Sparks

Susan Sparks is a highly experienced and compassionate therapist who has dedicated her life to caring for and helping others. With over 35 years of experience working and volunteering in the community, Susan has witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by individuals, particularly in the area of mental health. Motivated to make a difference, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois in 2011 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2013. As a therapist, Susan specializes in working with children, young adults, individuals, and families, providing a personalized, life-centered approach to address their unique needs. She employs various therapeutic strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Mindfulness practice, and Holistic Therapies, to address issues such as behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, and anger management, among others. Susan firmly believes that every person has the inherent ability to overcome challenges and thrive, with some individuals requiring more guidance than others. She recognizes and nurtures the strengths within each individual, offering unwavering support to help them overcome obstacles and realize their full potential for a fulfilling, happy, and productive life.
