Tara Chowriamah

Dr. Tara Chowriamah is a dedicated and compassionate therapist who believes in the resilience of individuals during tough times. With over 13 years of experience in helping adults and children on their journey, she brings a unique blend of expertise and understanding to her practice. Dr. Chowriamah holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Brigham Young University-Idaho, with an Emphasis in Communication and Art, and a Master of Science in Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University, specializing in Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and school counseling. She embraces creativity in her counseling approach and strives to think outside the box to provide insight and healing. As a positive-focused counselor, she values setting and working towards core values while addressing any barriers that may arise. Dr. Chowriamah draws inspiration from renowned relationship expert John Gottman and the Love and Logic parenting approach. Outside of her practice, she is a devoted mother of two boys and deeply appreciates her parents, both on earth and in heaven. She has a strong affinity for the study of world religions, although her specialization lies within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
