Tiana Louis

Tiana Louis is a licensed clinician with 13 years of experience in mental health and addictions. She specializes in working with both adult and adolescent populations in outpatient and residential settings. Tiana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counselor Education, with a concentration in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Her expertise lies in dealing with co-occurring issues and she is a Distance Credentialed Counselor, a Board Certified Life Coach, and holds licenses in Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counseling and Clinical Professional Counseling. Tiana’s therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling. She has also completed training in Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP) and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Tiana believes in a client strength-based approach and helps individuals explore the underlying causes of their distress, particularly in relation to past experiences. She assists in creating a new narrative and provides interventions and techniques for grounding, emotional regulation, and relaxation.
