I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist-Associate (LCAS-A) in North Carolina. I have over 10 years clinical experience in assisting people of all ages, nationalities, races, gender expressions, diverse backgrounds, and sexual identities. I have a particular expertise in depression, anxiety, grief, mood disorders, trauma, substances and behavioral addictions. I also have experience of working with criminal justice involved persons who also have mental health issues, addiction or need assistance with reintegrating back into society. I pride myself on being culturally sensitive and aware of racial differences and how important this is with an individual’s life experience. My style is warm, non-judgmental, and relational. I believe we all need and deserve to feel understood and appreciated in our complexity throughout our lives. I help clients to explore their experiences with a sense of curiosity, sensitivity, and compassion. I use strength-based and solution focused approach to my work to ensure my clients get real-time solutions for real-life challenges. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness to help reduce symptoms and find new ways of coping with these identified challenges. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment and welcoming space for you to do the courageous work of growth, healing, and wellness. I am here to support you. Thank you for the opportunity.
