Hello! My name is Trevor Blue and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Social Work and also my Master’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University. I have gained experience working with children, teens, and adults throughout my career in several different settings. I am a rostered provider of Child-Parent Psychotherapy and I utilize other modalities of treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral, Attachment-Based, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, etc. While my counseling style is client-centered, warm, and empathetic. First and foremost I work to build a strong therapeutic relationship with you so that you can feel at ease sharing your worries and concerns. A strong relationship between the Client and the Therapist is an important factor toward a more positive outcome. From there we will work together to identify and tackle the stressors that are present and have brought you to this platform. I personally commend you on taking the steps to seek help toward becoming a better you. Know that I am ready and here to take this journey with you. Should you feel in need of urgent help or that you are in crisis at any time during our work together; please call 1-800-273-TALK 24 hours a day; or 911. This forum does not provide any type of emergency services, so I want to be sure you know who to contact if you need immediate help.
