Wanda Ranger

Wanda Ranger is a highly experienced and licensed Masters Level Professional Clinical Counselor. With 40 years of experience in various agency settings at all levels, including Federal, State, and County, Wanda has worked with a wide range of Private for Profit/Non Profit Agencies and Residential Treatment Centers. As an entrepreneur, she has also successfully run her own private practice settings. Wanda specializes in crisis counseling, mood disorders, communication skills, parenting, trauma, and family violence. She is certified by the State of California in Crisis Counseling and Family Violence and is trained to work with various diagnostic categories, including mood disorders, behavioral disorders, personality disorders, and adjustment disorders. Wanda’s upbringing in a culturally diverse extended family system has given her a deep appreciation for and enthusiasm in working with populations of diverse cultures and identities. With a significant part of her career focused on working with teens, tweens, children, and young adults, Wanda brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in supporting this age group. In addition to her professional roles, Wanda is a wife, mother, and grandmother, and enjoys a variety of indoor and outdoor hobbies. Her approach to counseling is person-centered, focusing on building on clients’ strengths and support systems. Wanda is
