Aleah Phillips

Aleah Phillips is a licensed therapist in North Carolina with 3 years of professional work experience. She completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2016 and went on to earn her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. With a focus on crisis stabilization, Aleah has primarily worked with adolescence, adults, and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting. She has expertise in helping clients cope with addictions, family conflicts, anger management, and navigating life changes. Aleah is dedicated to creating a safe and open environment where clients can freely express their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. Her passion lies in working with adolescents, specifically in building their sense of self-confidence and addressing challenges related to self-esteem, body image, bullying, peer pressure, and social anxiety. Aleah’s preferred therapy modality for working with adolescents is cognitive-behavioral therapy, where she helps clients identify and change negative thought patterns that impact their behavior and emotions. She also focuses on developing skills such as setting boundaries, goal setting, appropriate self-expression, and emotional self-regulation.
