Alexander Chernyshov

Alexander A. Chernyshov is a Licensed Professional Counselor with an extensive background in education and international relations. With a Bachelor’s and MBA from North Western Academy of Public Administration in St. Petersburg, Russia, and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Virginia, Alexander brings a diverse range of knowledge and expertise to his practice. Throughout his career, Alexander has worked in educational, non-profit, and corporate settings both in the United States and internationally. He has experience in private practice as well as clinical settings, allowing him to provide comprehensive and effective counseling services. Specializing in men’s issues, couples, adolescents, children, and single adults, Alexander utilizes a holistic approach to address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, addiction, depression, guilt, shame, trauma, and more. He incorporates evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a client-centered approach to ensure individualized and effective treatment. Outside of his work, Alexander enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring new destinations through travel, and maintaining an active lifestyle through fitness activities.
