My name is Ali Shields, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker with over 7 years of experience supporting individuals on their journey toward healing, growth, and resilience. I currently only provide telehealth Whether you’re facing overwhelming emotions, navigating life transitions, or simply seeking a safe space to talk, I’m here to provide a supportive, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic environment as we work together toward your goals. I believe that every person has the inner strength and capacity for positive change, and my goal is to help you uncover and build upon those strengths. I have a deep commitment to suicide prevention, with clinical training on how to arrest and treat suicide ideations. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I use solution-focused, client-centered, CBT, strengths-based, and mindfulness practices to make sure our work together fits your unique needs. Regardless of where you are in your current life experience, my role is to provide a supportive and affirming therapeutic space. Together, we will work toward fostering resilience, promoting healing, and facilitating meaningful, lasting change.
