I am licensed in Florida with 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, & depression. I have also worked with clients with substance abuse issues. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I consider each session to be a safe space where the individual can be open and candid without the fear of judgement. I believe in listening intently to the stories the client brings to the sessions. I understand that everyone is unique and that goals should be tailored specifically to the individual’s needs and style of communication. I treat everyone with empathy, compassion, and respect. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and solution focus therapies. My experience is varied I have worked with couples, families and individuals. I use a systemic approach. I look at each individual and how he or she interacts as a member of the family. Understanding family dynamics facilitates the sessions. I work with the client to look for patterns of behaviors that can be altered to have a better outcome.
