Julie Bridges

Julie Bridges is a licensed counselor in the states of Mississippi and North Carolina, with a passion for helping individuals overcome their challenges. Having personally experienced therapy for anxiety and addiction issues, Julie understands the transformative power of therapy in one’s life. With several years of experience working with adults in an acute care psychiatric facility and providing group support in a Christian faith-based recovery ministry, Julie has developed a strong expertise in addressing a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and anger. Her therapeutic approaches mainly focus on Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with additional training in EMDR and IFS work. Julie offers a supportive, empathetic ear while helping clients identify necessary changes for a better life. By working together, she helps clients tap into their strengths and set achievable goals to resolve life issues and improve mental health. Recognizing that a strong rapport between counselor and client is crucial, Julie values open communication and seeks to truly listen and understand each client’s unique perspective.
