Kathlene Kat Strangeman

Kathlene Kat Strangeman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing therapy services. She has worked in various therapeutic settings, including partial and intensive outpatient care, in-home care, hospitals, and community-based programs, including homeless and domestic violence shelters. Additionally, she has managed a private practice. Kathlene collaborates with individuals affected by trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, and relationship struggles. She has specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with children and Cognitive Processing Therapy with adults impacted by PTSD. Currently, she works with the veteran population and has experience supporting those with post-deployment, transition, and adjustment concerns. Originally from Chicago, Kathlene moved to Mississippi to build a life with her partner, who is originally from MS. She received her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan University in St. Paul, MN, and her master’s degree from the Jane Adams School of Social Work at UIC (University of Illinois, Chicago). As a social worker, Kathlene is committed to a person-centered, holistic, and integrated approach.
