Keely Walston, a compassionate and experienced therapist, welcomes you to take the important step of beginning therapy. Through therapy, Keely can help you process your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, empowering you to overcome obstacles and initiate the healing process. She believes that the success of therapy depends on the quality of the therapeutic relationship, and therefore, she conducts a brief intake assessment to ensure that she is the right fit for your needs and goals. Keely’s journey to becoming a therapist started over 10 years ago, and she is a licensed certified social worker-clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland, having graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s School of Social Work. She approaches therapy with a client-centered perspective, believing that individuals have the inherent power to live their best lives. With experience working with a culturally diverse population, Keely has helped clients navigate depression, anxiety, substance abuse, fertility issues, loss, and grief. She recognizes the impact of our thoughts on our emotions and behaviors, whether positive or negative, and she is dedicated to providing you with the necessary tools and strategies for mental and emotional well-being
