Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in MO with 7 years experience. I have treated children as young as 3 and adults through their senior years. I enjoy helping people that are struggling with navigating through difficult times and helping them see the full potential in themselves. I have worked with groups, individuals, and parenting classes in a variety of settings from private practice to hospital settings. I have also worked in the telehealth setting for the past 2.5 years, so distance counseling is something I am very comfortable with. I am comfortable treating many of life’s issues including life changes/adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, self-worth, parenting, stress management, and grief. My overall approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe once we change how we think about the situation, or how we are processing the situation, then we can move forward with how to best adapt to the situation. I also utilize mediations, guided imagery, relaxation strategies and grounding to help transition from a distressed self to an empowered self. I enjoy watching my patients grow and develop through this process and take a relaxed and approachable stance with counseling. You are more than welcome to bring your true self to my sessions without fear of judgment. I look forward to walking through this journey with you and help you realize your full self.
