My name is Rabaya Rahman. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. I can speak both English and Bengali. I have experience working with clients of all ages with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, relationship issues, multicultural challenges, career challenges, adjustment to life changes and grief/loss. I utilize client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My goal is to promote growth by offering a safe and accepting atmosphere to help you find and understand your best self.
