Rachael Claborn

Rachael Claborn is a licensed independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts, specializing in working with survivors of trauma, individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, and youth and families facing challenges with family dynamics, parenting, and intergenerational trauma. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clark University and a Master’s in Social Work degree from Simmons University, Rachael has been working in the field for seven years. She strongly believes in practicing from a social justice-oriented framework, acknowledging and exploring the impact of factors such as racism, sexism, socioeconomic status, homophobia, and transphobia on individuals’ lives. Rachael is committed to respectful curiosity and actively seeks feedback from her clients to ensure their satisfaction with the therapeutic process. Grounded in narrative frameworks and values, Rachael recognizes her clients as the experts in their own lives and supports them in exploring alternative perspectives and ideas. She employs various therapeutic approaches, including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. Rachael is dedicated to helping individuals find the support they need and is available for any questions related to her practice or therapy in general.
