Ponder this: I have certain goals or hopes for the future based on who I am today, but once I reach those goals I may be a different person. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist(MFT)in California with 20 years of professional work experience. I am a 67 year old gay man. My pronouns are he/him. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, and coping with life changes. I also offer support to parents who are struggling with parenting challenges, those who are caring for aging parents or relatives, as well as those with loved ones who battle serious chronic mental illnesses like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, who need help navigating care issues and their relationship with their loved one. The therapeutic process can provide you with a unique opportunities to explore, learn, and express what is happening inside. The things you experience and learn during therapy can help you move forward and lead to better self-esteem, increased ability to get back on a positive track, and experience the joy of a better relationship with yourself and others. I work with my clients to create an open and safe space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
