Hilary Jacques

Hi! My name is Hilary Jacques. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) in 2008. I have training in Play Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Filial Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Art Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Brazelton Touchpoints, Infant Mental Health, and Triple P (Positive Parenting Program). There is an African proverb that says, It takes a village to raise a child. I am passionate about working with Mothers (including other important caregivers) of the village and their children, adolescents, and teens. I work with families who have experienced trauma/PTSD and stress. During our first appointment, we will have a conversation about the presenting symptoms/behaviors, personal and family history, treatment goals and expectations. We meet as often as we agree to for therapy to talk/play about life experiences, have fun, connect, learn, develop a toolkit of coping skills and calming techniques, and explore and try out new things.
